The Embassy of Montenegro in Serbia organised a reception to mark 21st May, the Day of Independence of Montenegro, at which Ambassador H.E. Branislav Mićunović said that there were no outstanding issues to be resolved between Belgrade and Podgorica.
Ambassador stressed that strengthening political relations between the two countries, alongside the expectation of cooperation between Montenegro and Serbia, will be deepened in all fields.
The Montenegrin ambassador said that he remembered the words of Serbian President Tomislav Nikolić when he took over as ambassador and said that the two countries enjoy the highest degree of closeness, understanding and mutual cooperation in the region.
The reception at Belgrade’s Hyatt Regency Hotel was attended, in addition to high-ranking Serbian officials, by representatives of the diplomatic corps and people from the cultural, sporting and public life of Serbia and Montenegro.
