The National Day of Indonesia has been officially celebrated in Belgrade, marking the 71st anniversary of the country’s declaration of independence. The host of the formal reception was H.E. Harry Richard James Kandou, Indonesian Ambassador to Serbia.
Ambassador Kandou reminded those in attendance that Indonesia is a country with 255 million inhabitants, the fourth biggest in the world, and has the largest economy in Southeast Asia.
In addition to the highest Serbian officials and representatives of the diplomatic corps, the reception was attended by friends, business partners and representatives of cultural and public life and religious communities in Serbia.
