Colonel Christian Frederik Tangjong, Defence Attaché of the Republic of Indonesia resident in Belgrade and accredited for the Czech Republic, Hungary, Romania, Slovakia, Bosnia-Herzegovina and Montenegro, along with his spouse, Mrs Saltima Ripi Tangjong, hosted a reception to celebrate the 72nd Anniversary of Indonesian Armed Forces Day.
The event was also attended by Indonesian Ambassador H.E. Harry R.J. Kandou, while guests included members of the Belgrade Attaché Association, senior representatives of the Serbian Ministry of Defence, counterparts and members of non-governmental organisations, as well as Indonesian national living and working in Serbia.
Colonel Tangjong noted in his speech that this event provides momentum to rejuvenate the identity of the Indonesian Armed Forces as the soldiers of the people, soldiers of the nation and professional soldiers.
