Georges Dassis, President of the European Economic and Social Committee, has visited Belgrade to participate in a seminar organised by the European Trade Union Institute at Hotel Moskva, Belgrade.
The theme of the seminar was “Strong social dialogue and social partners – added value for progress”.
The three-day event was aimed at presenting the opinions of trade unionists and their experiences in social dialogue and collective bargaining in different countries.
The seminar included analysis of the current state and evolution of social dialogue and collective bargaining in various countries, determining methods of strengthening social partners in the public and private sectors, but also in multinational companies, as well as attempting to establish and improve the resources of social partners and opportunities for the provision of greater support.
