Embassy of Russia in Belgrade, Serbia, led by Ambassador H.E. Alexander Botsan-Kharchenko, marked 75 years of the Victory Day.
“Victory Day is a joint holiday of Russia and Serbia. Together with Serbian friends, we paid tribute to the fallen heroes, we laid wreaths at the Monument to the Liberators of Belgrade. We have also opened an exhibition dedicated to the 75th anniversary of the liberation of Europe from Nazism,” said Ambassador Botsan-Kharchenko.

Ambassador also thanked veterans and wished them good health.
“On this day marking the 75th anniversary of the Victory day, awards were given to our military experts who helped in suppressing and extinguishing the coronavirus epidemic in Serbia. The decoration presented on this day has a special value, with a deep symbol of the connection between the generations and the continuity of our mutual support,” said Ambassador.
