The exhibition Parallel Flows, showcasing 50 selected works from the Wiener Art Collection, opened at the Art Gallery of the Kruševac National Museum and will run until May 10.

Featuring classical painting, photography, video, sculpture, and objects, the exhibition spans from the 1950s to the early 2000s, highlighting key works of Serbian avant-garde and experimental art. Curated by Saša Janjić, it celebrates a movement that often anticipated Western trends.

The collection, formed by Wiener Städtische osiguranje since 2011 and now boasting over 600 pieces, is one of the most significant in Serbia. Many works were previously shown at Vienna’s Leopold Museum, and the exhibition will continue touring Serbia to broaden access to contemporary art.
