The Embassy of Australia in Serbia paid respect to all who served in all wars and those who continue to serve. It is also a time for Australians to remember the fallen.
The Commonwealth War Cemetery in Belgrade is the final resting place for 28 Australian and 11 New Zealand soldiers who died in the First and second world wars. They were remembered on this occasion that gathered members of the New Zealand Embassy in Rome, the Embassy of Italy, the Embassy of Turkish, the Serbian Ministry of Defence, the Ministry of Labour, Employment, Veteran and Social Policy, among others.
