Company PriceWaterhouseCoopers hosted the members of the French-Serbian Chamber of Commerce for their monthly meeting at the PwC Academy in New Belgrade.
Those in attendance were welcomed by Vice President of the French-Serbian Chamber of Commerce, Eric Grasser, director of company Hit Auto. He began by wishing a warm welcome to the latest members of the Chamber, companies Adria Media Group, Eontek, Argus Security Project and the law firm ODI Law.
Turning to upcoming activities, Grasser announced that the Student Award of the Chamber would this year focus on the topic of sustainable development in the digital age. He also thanked the competition’s sponsors, Schneider Electric, Elektrovat and Enel PS.
The Chamber’s Vice President also spoke about the “Start-up Accelerator” programme launched by the Chamber this year, which will entail members of the Board of Directors of the Chamber providing free mentoring support for three start-ups, to be selected by the end of February.
Attendees were also addressed by the country manager of host company PriceWaterhouseCoopers, Emanuel König, after which former Serbian government minister and senior PwC advisor Miroljub Labus gave a short presentation on the current macroeconomic situation in Serbia and worldwide.
