The IWC Belgrade held its March coffee morning at the German ambassador’s residence, kindly hosted by Mrs Natalie Ebert, the ambassador’s spouse. A large number of IWC members and their guests gathered on this lovely spring day to enjoy a coffee in the garden and plan the coming IWC activities.
The IWC board told members how the funds collected at the IWC charity bazaar would be distributed this year. Six experienced and reputable NGOs will receive funds to implement projects tackling the protection of children’s rights, assisting institutionalised children and those without parental care, promoting inclusion and helping people with disabilities achieve a better life. All of the projects to be funded are outside Belgrade in underdeveloped regions that rarely receive any help.
