The 12th Annual Guitar Art Summer Fest took place in Montenegro’s Herceg Novi from 15th to 20th August, under the slogan ‘Guitar Integrations’.

This festival has attracted guitar lovers, performers, artists, numerous tourists from the country and abroad, and all those who “integrate music”, for over a decade.

This year’s Guitar Art Summer Fest brought together performers and artists of different styles, who brought to Novi Sad Portuguese “Fado Iberia”, the Spanish flamenco of “Alfonso & Miguel Linares Flamenco Sextet”, Croatian pop-rock band “Parni Valjak”, Montenegro’s classic “Vox2feel Duo”, the Serbian acoustics of “Vlada & Bajka”, as well as the contemporary music of the “Sensartika trio”.

The accompanying programme saw the Sue Ryder Gallery host a photo exhibition entitled “The Life and Works of Augustin Barios”, dedicated to the most famous Paraguayan guitarist and composer of classical music, as well as workshops and master classes.

The festival was sponsored by Erste Bank.
