The residence of the Embassy of Switzerland is hosting an exhibition of the works of four outstanding young visual artists from the region – Ivana Ivković, Emir Šehanović, Vladimir Miladinović and Saša Tkačenko.
The curators are two Swiss citizens who live and work in Belgrade – writer and publicist David Laufer and artworks producer with rich international experience, Jan Eugster.
This is the second exhibition to be implemented in the space of the residence, which are the result of the shared aspirations of its selectors and the Swiss Ambassador to point out the great artistic potential of young authors from this region.
“The Swiss Residence is proud to again open its doors to a spring exhibition of talented young artists from the region. Innovation in arts goes hand-in-hand with the development of a robust economy. Both dynamics will lead to an attractive and vibrant Serbian society. Through its cooperation programme of almost 20 million CHF per year, and through the cultural fund of the Embassy, Switzerland wants to help bring to fruition the tremendous potential of the Serbian people,” said H.E. Jean-Daniel Ruch, Swiss Ambassador to Serbia and Montenegro.
