Thanks to the campaign of publishing house Škola plus (School Plus), “new books for old books”, primary school pupils in Serbia have the opportunity to participate in the recycling of paper and acting ecologically by swapping their old textbooks and receiving a new one at only half the full price.
Under the auspices of this campaign, in agreement with the Paper Service, pupils in participating schools will be able to regularly return and hand over the old paper, while schools will be able to procure what they need for the funds raised.
“The basic message of this campaign is the protection of the environment and the planet. We wanted this to be one of the ways for students to take care of their planet, while we simultaneously want to reduce costs for parents’ budgets,” announced Novica Pavličić, director of Škola plus.
