The British Society and Repats Serbia held their first joint networking event on Wednesday 25 January at Podrum WineArt, Stari Grad, Belgrade to celebrate a positive start to 2017. 

More than 100 members of both organisations joined the British Ambassador HE Dennis Keefe and Mrs Kate Keefe, including representatives from British business, culture and education. 

British Society vice-chair James Gunn said: “Our organisation with more than 1,200 members is hosting bi-monthly receptions to bring long-term expatriates, short-term visitors and Serbian friends of Britain together in this 180th year of bilateral relations. With Brexit upon us, we are forging deeper links within Serbia, the country we call home.”
