The Exhibition “Innovative Finnish Design”, organised by the Embassy of Finland and the Belgrade City Library was opened last night at the Gallery Atrium.
Ambassador of Finland H.E. Pertti Ikonen, who opened the Exhibition, pointed out that innovations and design are of key importance for Finns, shaping their way of thinking. Likewise, all European Union member countries are very competitive in the fields of design and innovations. Ambassador Ikonen hoped that the Exhibition would serve as a source of inspiration to the Serbian audience.
The Exhibition consists of panels where creative approaches are presented in solving complex technological problems, from information and communication technologies, shipbuilding, design in health care, to innovations in the advanced furniture industry. The creator of the Exhibition is Jarno Peltonen, former director of the Design Museum in Helsinki.
The Belgrade audience will be able to visit the Exhibition until 7 March 2019 at the Atrium Gallery in the Belgrade City Library.
