In Belgrade, on 18th May 2019, the British International School organised the traditional charity bazaar at their two beautiful BIS Primary campuses in 7a Uzicka and 3 Iliciceva in Dedinje. The theme of this year’s charity bazaar was ‘Circus’.  A very creative, entertaining programme was presented by British International School students of all ages  – from 3 to 18 years of age.

Like in the previous years, dozens of stalls were presented at the Bazaar. The visitors enjoyed international cuisine from every continent. Souvenirs, books exciting children’s games and other curiosities were also available. The most exciting part of the event was the raffle with numerous valuable prizes including weekends at exclusive hotels, dinners in renowned restaurants and many other surprises.

Principal BIS, Aleksandra Keserović told us “At our school, we educate students, however, more than anything else we try to create good people through a holistic approach to education. All of our students, our staff members, BIS parents, and all good-willed people, inspired by the desire to help the children who need help the most made this year’s Bazaar the most successful so far.  All the collected funds are dedicated to NURDOR, the national association of parents of children with cancer, which is made up of parents, doctors, medical staff and good-willed people.  On behalf of the students and the staff of British International School, I thank you for your contribution and precious collaboration.”
