The Embassy of the Republic of Cyprus, in cooperation with the Ministry of Tourism of that country, organized a Cyprus evening in Belgrade.

Relations between Cyprus and Serbia are based on firm friendship, mutual solidarity and respect for the international law. Cyprus supports the territorial integrity of Serbia and Serbia supports Cyprus and that will not change, ambassador of Cyprus to Serbia H.E. Dimitrios Teofilaktu told RTS.

The ambassador emphasized that there is great potential in projects that would be jointly implemented by partners from Serbia, Cyprus and Greece, as well as that there are opportunities for cooperation in the field of the IT industry as well as energy, transport and infrastructure.

“Serbia and Cyprus have traditional, long-standing, very good friendly and fraternal relations. Tourism is one of the ways to get to know each other even better and connect more closely”, the ambassador said.
