President of Serbia Aleksandar Vučić received the credentials of the new Canadian Ambassador, Michelle Cameron, and the new Dutch Ambassador, Martijn Elhersma.

During the talks, Vučić welcomed the new ambassadors and wished them much success during their mandates in Serbia. They discussed numerous new potentials for cooperation, as well as current political issues.

“I expressed Serbia’s readiness to enhance comprehensive cooperation with Canada, especially considering investments in large infrastructure, energy, and environmental protection projects. I emphasized our desire to intensify relations, not only in the spheres of politics and the economy but also through strengthening cultural ties, which would further enrich our relations. The significant Serbian diaspora living in Canada plays a key role in this process, serving as a unique bridge between our two countries,” the President of Serbia stated on his Instagram account.

He also highlighted Serbia’s interest in deepening overall relations with the Netherlands, with particular emphasis on Dutch investments in some of Serbia’s key projects.
