The Italian Embassy in Belgrade celebrated the Festa della Repubblica, Italy’s National Day and Republic Day, with a formal reception hosted by H.E. Giuseppe Manzo, Italy Ambassador to Serbia, who said that on this occasion great speeches are not required to demonstrate how close relates are between Italy and Serbia. He placed special emphasis on military cooperation, with a group of Serbian Army officers, in the presence of Defence Minister Zoran Đorđević, presented with diplomas for completing an Italian language course at the Italian Cultural Institute in Belgrade.

The reception was attended by Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić and National Assembly Speaker Maja Gojković, as well as cabinet members and representatives of the diplomatic corps, religious communities and public and cultural circles.
