Ambassador of Belgium to Serbia H.E. Koenraad Adam and Mrs Adam hosted a reception marking the National Day, Independence Day of this country.

Belgium celebrates 21 July as a national holiday, in memory of 21 July 1831, which is thought to be the creation of an independent Belgian state and establishment of the Kingdom. 

It is one of twelve public holidays in Belgium.
 
Ambassador Koenraad Adam welcomed guests in the lovely garden of the Residence in Krunska street.
 
Addressing the guests partly in Serbian and English, Ambassador Koenraad Adam thanked attendees for joining the celebration of the national day of this country.
 
The reception at the Belgium Residence was attended by representatives of the diplomatic corps in Serbia and numerous figures from the public, political and cultural life of Belgrade and Serbia.
