Indonesian Embassy in Belgrade held an exclusive event “Indonesian Batik Fashion Show” which was attended by 200 guests.

Indonesia Batik Fashion Show with the Batik Bazaar was carried out in commemoration of the 65th anniversary of bilateral relations between Indonesia and Serbia. 

H.E. Mochammad Chandra Widya, Ambassador of Indonesia to Serbia greeted guests and opened the Batik Fashion Show. He said that Batik fashion can hopefully become one of the fashion choices and inspirations for Serbian women.


The event held at the Top Hub, Usce Business Center, Belgrade, presented work of 6 Indonesian designers Rudi Chandra (South Coast Batik), Nita Seno Adji (Beautiful Samba Batik), Ariy Arka (Heritage of Batak’s for Batik), Erdan (Princess Pukes de Batik), Ida Giris (A woman of Lampung in Batik), and Malik Moestaram (Traditional tale of Batik). 
 

 
Complementing the fashion show, the Indonesian Embassy in Belgrade presented a traditional dance performed by the troupe Bidadari.

After the fashion show, guests enjoyed the Batik Bazaar and traditional Indonesian snacks.
