Edward Ferguson To Be His Majesty’s Ambassador To Serbia

Great Britain appointed Edward Ferguson as the new ambassador to Serbia.

Mr Ferguson will take over from the current ambassador Sian MacLeod in July 2023.

During his diplomatic career, Edward Ferguson was the ambassador of Great Britain to Bosnia and Herzegovina from 2014 to 2018, and then from 2018 to 2022 he was the senior defense adviser at the British Embassy in Washington and the director for the USA at the Ministry of Defense.

From 2011 to 2014, Edward Ferguson was Head of Strategy and Priorities at the Ministry of Defence, and from 2009 to 2011, Head of Policy for Afghanistan and Pakistan.

He is married and has three children.
