Australian Ambassador Julia Feeney has been recognised as the best woman in the 21st century (Najžena XXI veka) for her strong commitment and contribution to the empowerment of women in Serbia, Montenegro and FYR Macedonia, with a special focus on economic empowerment.
The “Najžena XXI veka” Award was received on behalf of Ambassador Feeney by Glenn Morrison, First Secretary and Consul at the Australian Embassy, during an award ceremony event organised on 18th November by Airli nivo agency.
Ambassador Feeney expressed her deep appreciation for being recognised and presented with this award. She said that it is not only a great honour for her personally, but for her entire team at the embassy, all of whom are committed to working hard to make a positive difference.
