Ambassador of Israel to Serbia H.E. Alona Fisher-Kamm said in her speech that despite the challenges country faced during the past decades, Israel preserved democratic values, as well as the spirit of tolerance, creating a society that intertwines religions, cultures and nations.

Ambassador Fisher-Kamm emphasised that the relations between Israel and Serbia are based on mutual understanding, friendship and solidarity.

She pointed out that at present 70 Israeli companies are operating in Serbia and that their presence contributes to the overall relations between the two countries.

Representatives of the Government, members of the diplomatic corps, the economic and cultural life of Serbia attended the celebration.
