The 140th anniversary of the diplomatic relations between Serbia and Bulgaria was marked at the Bulgarian embassy in Belgrade with the reception and concert of the choir Angelite.
In the presence of Serbian and Bulgarian officials, it was reassessed that the relations between the two countries is going from strength to strength.
“Our relations are based on common values – freedom, independence, European Union, as well as language, religion, democratic experience and respect for the rights of national minorities,” said ambassador Radko Vlajkov.
Veroljub Arsić, Vice President of the Serbian Parliament, said that the relations between Bulgaria and Serbia and its people are at the highest possible level and are constantly progressing.
The most significant contribution to this progress is the increase in commodity exchange, which will reach two billion euros next year, as well as the increasingly better infrastructure.
