Embassy of Austria in Serbia hosted a series of lectures titled “Archeology of the Modern Era”. 

The first out of six lectures of this series “The Beginning of History – The Balkans as a Pre-Historic Bridge Between Asia Minor and Europe”, was held at the Austrian Embassy on 12th September.


Ambassador of Austria to Serbia H.E. Nikolaus Lutterotti opened the first lecture, where speakers were Univ.Prof. Dr Barbara Horejs, Director of OREA/ Institute for Oriental and European Archeology, Austrian Academy of Sciences, Head of the excavation in “Svinjarička Čuka”, Lebane and Prof. Sofija Stefanović Biosense institute, University of Novi Sad/Department of Archaeology, Faculty of Philosophy, University of Belgrade.
