Stojan Jovanović, YOKOGAWA

Dedicated to Clients

YOKOGAWA readily welcomes all reforms on Serbia’s path towards the European Union, and particularly in the field of energy efficiency

YOKOGAWA, which this year celebrates the 100th anniversary of its establishment, recently started operating in Serbia.

A year after the opening of your branch in Belgrade, how do you assess the results achieved and what are your further ambitions?

The first year of operations of YOKOGAWA’s branch in Serbia passed dynamically and the results exceeded expectations. As a global leader in the field of industrial automation, we are dedicated to creating added value for our clients and building a sustainable future.

Our ambitions include further regional growth through an increase in the number of employees and cooperation with local and international system integrators.

We place special emphasis on complex software and hardware solutions of APC – “Advanced Process Control”, as the link between production and ERP management systems, which contributes to increasing efficiency and reducing production costs.

In which areas is YOKOGAWA recognised as a global leader?

Today Yokogawa has more than 20,000 employees worldwide and represents a pillar of support for the biggest companies in the processing industry. The reliability of our equipment and solutions has resulted in us gaining the trust of major oil and energy companies around the world, who leave the management of their production processes to us.

How do you assess the potential of this market today, given the expected reforms in the field of energy?

Yokogawa readily welcomes all reforms on Serbia’s path towards the European Union, and particularly in the field of energy efficiency, where our equipment and software solutions can bring significant benefits to the end-user.

Our partnership with Soteica Visual MESA, a world leader in software for the optimisation of energy consumption in production processes, shows the direction in which we want to go in the future, and that is to be a “solution and service provider”.
