Ambassador of Japan in Serbia H.E. Katsumata Takahiko hosted a reception in his residence to mark the 140th anniversary of the establishment of friendly relations between Japan and Serbia.

The reception was attended by the President of Serbia Aleksandar Vučić, the Prime Minister of Serbia Ana Brnabić, members of the diplomatic community, as well as companies that are members of the Japanese Business Alliance.

In his speech, Ambassador Takahiko expressed his respect for the Serbian people and their ancestors, who, as he said, made a huge contribution to improving relations with Japan.
