In 2017, around 160 requests were made to access pornography websites from computers within the House of Parliament in the United Kingdom.
According to data obtained by Britain’s Press Association (PA), a total of 24,473 attempts were made since last June’s general election from devices connected to the parliamentary network.
People in the Parliament building who tried to access these porn websites include MPs, staff, contractors, staff. In just four months from March to October, these many attempts were made to view online pornography.
A Parliamentary spokesman said of the figures: “All pornographic websites are blocked by Parliament’s computer network.”
