The year 2017 marks the seventh annual World Pillow Fight Day. The event has so far taken place in over 100 cities around the world.

From Barcelona to New York, from Amsterdam to Vancouver, people attacked each other in merciless pillow fights on the first Saturday of April. This year it was 1st April.

The International Pillow Fight Day is an initiative of the Urban Playground Movement, the non-profit organisation known for its free, fun, all-ages public activities.

The idea is to reclaim urban public spaces, spreading pure fun and freedom and connecting with each other. This is the only type of fight in which people enjoy and laugh a lot at the likeable silliness.
