Minister of Environmental Protection of Serbia, Goran Trivan, said that the campaign to save eastern imperial eagles in Serbia was intended to spread awareness of the protection of the species in Serbia.

The campaign is implemented by Carlsberg Serbia and the Society for the Protection and Study of Birds of Serbia, with the support of the Ministry of Environmental Protection.

Campaign warns that eastern imperial eagles are in danger of extinction globally and especially in Serbia.

Minister Trivan reminded that eastern imperial eagle is featured on Coat of arms of Serbia.

Vladimir Vava, Director of Carlsberg Serbia, said that the company will in the coming months allocate one dinar from each sold bottle of 0.5l of the Lav Beer for the campaign to save eastern imperial eagles in Serbia.
