Two countries have great scope to further improve bilateral relations

The Serbian-Greek forum, which included the participation of prime ministers Aleksandar Vučić and Alexis Tsipras, passed in a working and friendly atmosphere, with the conclusion drawn that the two countries have great scope to further improve bilateral relations, especially when it comes to economic cooperation.

Greek PM Tsipras noted that Greek businessmen are ready and open for investments and increasing trade between the two countries, as well as noting that Greek businessmen “have been, now are, and will continue to be, present and active in Serbia.”

President of the Chamber of Commerce & Industry of Serbia, Marko Čadež, and his Greek counterpart, Constantinos Mihalos, jointly assessed at the opening of the forum that the trade exchange is below its potential and that work should be done to promote economic cooperation.

The post-forum reception was attended by a large number of political, economic and business leaders from both countries, as well as media representatives.
