Prime Minister of Serbia Ana Brnabic and Ambassador of China to Serbia H.E. Chen Bo visited the ongoing construction site of the Xingyu Automotive factory in the Industrial Zone of Nis.

Chinese company Xingyu Automotive Lighting Systems is building a 60 million euros worth car lightning factory in the city of Nis. The company intends to hire 1.000 employees and to export products mainly to Germany, France, and Slovakia.

Serbian Prime Minister Ana Brnabić said that it is expected for the factory to be finished in February 2021. Moreover, she pointed out the fact that Xingyu Automotive Lighting Systems is one of the biggest and the most successful companies in the world when it comes to the automotive lighting systems which will certainly have a positive impact on the Serbian economy.

H.E. ambassador Chen Bo was pleasantly surprised by the quick progress of the project.

„The works did not stop for one day even during the epidemic. This shows what a good business environment Nis and Serbia are “, said Chen Bo.

She expressed her expectations for many other Chinese companies to invest in Serbia.

The Xingyu Automotive Lighting Systems, listed on the Shanghai Stock Exchange, is active in the research and development (R&D), design, manufacturing, and sales of automotive lamps. The company is the largest Chinese car lighting manufacturer and is a partner to European, Japanese, American, and Chinese carmakers.
