The Nelt Group presented the 2018/19 Sustainability Report, highlighting that business sustainability is one of the key strategic objectives of the company, which has constantly been growing organically for nearly 30 years.

In addition to business diversity, new technologies and employee affirmation, the company is focused on the areas and projects which will have a long-term positive impact on both the organisation and the community.

In the last two years, Nelt invested 15 million euros in developing smart warehouses and office space in Belgrade and Istočno Sarajevo expanded the Intermodal Terminal in Belgrade and its fleet in accordance with the latest eco-standards and focused on the importance of recycling. In all the markets where it operates, the company strives to raise environmental awareness and reduce pollution and global warming effects.

It also continues to support projects in the areas of youth education and professional training. In collaboration with faculties, the company helps youth in achieving their potential by promoting the significance of education for further career development.

Another priority of the company is an investment in employees and their professional development via internal and external training, along with various perks such as corporate MD, private health insurance, special care for postpartum women and teleworking.

Miloš Jelić, the Nelt Group CEO, says that the company’s strategic plan includes the continuation of the optimisation process and investment in people. “In 2019, we recorded net revenue of 950 million euros or 50 million more than in the year before. In the third Sustainable Report, which complies with the GRI Standards, we present parts of our organisation and processes which are the pillars of success of the Nelt Group, the organisation employees 4,000 people in 15 companies, in 11 markets in Europe and Africa,” said Jelić.
