Schneider Electric, the leader in digital transformation and energy management and automation, has presented results of a survey on digital transformation advantages. The survey was conducted on a sample of 230 large-scale projects which implemented Schneider Electric’s solutions in 41 countries in the past five years.

“The survey results are impressive and definitely confirm the need for digital transformation and its multiple benefits. Owing to digital transformation of business, energy saving rate ranges from 20 to as much as 80 per cent, while the investment is returned in 3 years on average,” noted Dejan Marković, Schneider Electric Serbia GM.

It is important to note that prompt digital transformation is what leads to successful cost-cutting. Those who keep pace with trends and join them earlier belong to the group of early adopters and their digital transformation-related saving goes up to 70 per cent, compared to 30 per cent of saving for industry followers.

The most successful examples of digital transformation implementation include the Hilton Garden Inn Hotel in Dubai, “New Belgium“ Brewery in Colorado, “Tottenham“ Football Stadium, ”Penn Medicine“ Hospital in Pennsylvania…

Serbia can also boast with examples of good practice in regard to digital transformation. Owing to the implementation of Schneider Electric’s solutions, “Nikola Tesla“ Airport, “Hilton“ Hotel in Belgrade, “Sheraton” Hotel in Novi Sad, factories such as “Immi“, “Drenik“, “Cumtobel“, VIP Data Center, etc., have improved their business operations.
