Raiffeisen Banka has been recognized as Best Bank in Serbia for the fifth consecutive time in the annual European Banking Awards 2020 by the distinguished British financial magazine EMEA Financee.

Raiffeisen also received the Best Private Bank award for the first time for Friedrich Wilhelm Raiffeisen Private Banking, its service introduced in 2020.

“Recognitions such as these are very important, especially in times when the whole world is facing an unprecedented challenge. Our good organization and adaptability, as well as our vast experience and knowledge, allowed us  to continue operating successfully in 2020 as well. This is borne out by our very good business results, as well as high customer satisfaction across all segments. We are also especially proud of the title of Best Private Bank for the service we first offered in this past year of the pandemic to clients with sophisticated banking needs who require comprehensive and highly professional attention“, said Zoran Petrović, CEO of Raiffeisen bank.

The Raiffeisen Banking Group won numerous awards in all its markets, including Best Bank in Central and Eastern Europe and Best Bank and Best Investment Bank in Austria, as well as the Green Finance award for its dedication to promoting green technologies with a focus on renewable energy.

In making the awards, the EMEA Finance panel took into consideration market share, product growth, quality and innovation of banks’ offerings, quality of business strategy, and customer satisfaction.

EMEA Finance is a British financial magazine covering emerging markets of Europe, the Middle East, and Africa.
