Seven new members of the JBAS Board of Directors were elected at the V regular General Assembly session.

 

V regular General Assembly session of the Japanese Business Alliance in Serbia, attended by H.E. Mr Junichi Maruyama, Ambassador of Japan in the Republic of Serbia and Embassy’s representatives, was held on 20th February 2019, at the premises of JBAS founding member JTI, in Belgrade.

Next to an opportunity to discuss the previous activities and achievements, as well as the future plans of the Alliance, one of the main tasks of the General Assembly, was the election of the new JBAS Board of Directors members.

The General Assembly reelected Mr Dirk Bantel, Director of Panasonic Lighting Devices Serbia d.o.o., Mr. Igor Brankov, Sales Manager for SEE, Mazda Austria GmbH, Mr. Goran Pekez, Corporate Affairs and Communications Director JTI Western Balkan and Mr. Naoki Tsukada, General Manager of Mitsubishi Corporation Belgrade Liaison Office, while the newly elected members of JBAS Board of Directors are Mrs Ljubica Hadžistević, Sales Director of NES Communications doo Beograd, Mr Robert Lukić, Director of Toyota Serbia doo and Mrs Suzana Radović, Director of Fujitsu Technology Solutions GESMBH. 

The two-year mandate of the new JBAS Board of Directors will start as of 3rd March 2019, after which the new President of the Alliance is to be elected among the elected members of the JBAS Board of Directors.
