NELT Group and UNICEF have launched a $1.3 million strategic partnership to foster 21st-century skills among children and youths in Serbia, North Macedonia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, and Angola. This groundbreaking initiative aims to enhance educational systems and improve access to quality education and skills development over the next three years.
The project will impact 15,000 Serbian children by bolstering digital skills in 30 schools, while in North Macedonia, 500 students will enhance their employability skills and over 8,100 will learn vital green skills. In Bosnia and Herzegovina, more than 5,000 students will acquire essential skills to navigate future challenges and opportunities.
“Children hold the potential to initiate significant changes. By investing in their education today, we ensure a brighter tomorrow for entire communities,” said Deyana Kostadinova, UNICEF’s Director in Serbia. Miloš Jelić, CEO of NELT Group, emphasized the partnership’s role in preparing youths for a rapidly evolving labor market.
This collaboration not only addresses the global challenge of youth unemployment but also showcases how corporate contributions can significantly shape educational outcomes and societal resilience. Together, NELT Group and UNICEF are dedicated to equipping the next generations with the knowledge and skills necessary for success in the 21st century and beyond.
