ISB is delighted to announce that we are now accepting applications for our Scholarship Program. The Scholarship is open to Serbian students who will be entering Grade 9 and is awarded for a total of 4 years.

Overview

As an IB World School, The International School of Belgrade recognizes the importance of diversity in its student population, building strong community ties, and promoting academic excellence. We are afforded a unique opportunity to provide financial assistance to academically promising individuals who would not, under normal circumstances, attend ISB. By implementing a scholarship program to provide this financial assistance, our school would provide for two students from the local population to attend our school, free of charge, for their four years of high school.
The International School of Belgrade is an independent, co-educational international day school that enrolls students ages three to eighteen. ISB provides a high-quality, college-preparatory education with an emphasis on internationalism and global responsibility.
ISB is committed to being a Diverse, Equitable and Inclusive school community and will actively seek to embody these values in all aspects of school life.  ISB is committed to being proactive in promoting Diversity, Equity and Inclusion, where we consider:

  • Diversity to be the representation of different and unique identities, characteristics, experiences and perspectives.
  • Equity is ensuring everyone has what they need to succeed by increasing access, resources, and opportunities for all; especially for those who are underrepresented and have been historically disadvantaged.
  • Inclusion to represent a welcoming culture in which differences are celebrated and everyone is valued, respected, and able to reach their full potential.

Purpose

The ISB Scholarship Program seeks to offer the opportunity of earning an International Baccalaureate diploma to two local students each year. Students will be chosen based on a combination of academic excellence and financial need. This program will further reinforce ISB’s commitment to the themes of its mission statement, as it seeks to inspire, equip and empower its students to succeed and contribute positively to society. It is designed to make ISB a more integrated part of its host country, and it promotes the acquisition of knowledge as a key component to the human experience. The ISB Scholarship Program for the 2022/2023 school year is now open.
