The Czech industrial group Czechoslovak Group (CSG), which operates in Serbia as the “14. October” factory in Kruševac, has successfully acquired The Kinetic Group, a leading American small-calibre ammunition manufacturer.

The company employs 3,800 people across facilities in Minnesota, Arkansas, Idaho, and Oregon. This acquisition makes CSG the largest small-calibre ammunition producer in the West.

Michal Strnad, owner of CSG, stated that this acquisition is a key milestone for the group, positioning it as a global leader in the small-caliber ammunition industry and further strengthening its presence in the U.S. market.

The acquisition is part of CSG’s long-term strategy to expand its small-calibre ammunition sector. It will become a central pillar of its operations alongside its defence, aerospace, automotive, and railway divisions. With facilities already in Europe, India, the UK, and the U.S., the group plans further expansion in the U.S. market to bolster its position in the defence sector and other industrial areas.
