Since the beginning of the crisis caused by the coronavirus epidemic in Serbia, Bambi has donated more than 30 million dinars for more than 30 institutions, organisations and cities that are most affected by the virus.

Bambi has aimed to provide support to healthcare centres at the front line of the response to coronavirus, and in the course of this month only, a significant donation in the necessary medical equipment has been provided for the Clinic for Infectious Diseases in Belgrade, Gerontology Centre Bežanijska kosa, Clinical Centre of Kragujevac, General Hospital in Užice, General Hospital in Vranje and hospitals in Šabac and Surdulica. Previously, the company helped the hospital in Požarevac by donating medical equipment. During the state of emergency, Bambi also donated its products to healthcare professionals in all major healthcare centres.

“For years, our consumers have been with Bambi, especially with our Plazma brand, to which almost all of us are emotionally attached and which has for long been a favourite product outside Serbia as well. That is why we, as a part of the community, were strongly motivated to provide assistance and primarily help all the brave healthcare professionals in this demanding response to the epidemic. In the first phase of the crisis, we launched the “Great deeds are made at home” project and, inspired by consumers, donated products, safety equipment and funds for our healthcare workers and numerous institutions across Serbia. As the situation in the country is still very difficult, we have decided to help by donating medical equipment to institutions in several cities,” said Dragan Stajković, Bambi General Manager.

Ever since coronavirus reached Serbia, Bambi has been striving to help all people in various manners, especially those fighting the invisible enemy every day. Those include sales staff in stores, silent heroes of this fight, to whom Bambi has distributed more than 12,000 packages.

“Once again, we would like to invite all our citizens, colleagues, friends and their families to respect the recommended safety measures, because it is the only way to protect ourselves and our families,” said Dragan Stajković, Bambi GM.
