At Nikola Tesla Airport, Air Serbia presented its new Airbus A330-200 aircraft, which bears the colours and markings of the specialized Expo 2027 exhibition.
The new aircraft will fly to both China and the West, carrying the message “Come to Belgrade, come to be together at the centre of the world.”
This is a new wide-body aircraft with 262 seats, which will be used for flights to destinations such as New York and Chicago, as well as Tijuana and Guangzhou in China.
Air Serbia is the fastest-growing airline in the region, and by the end of the year, it will receive three more new aircraft, bringing its fleet to 29 planes.
The company’s CEO, Jiří Marek, stated that, in anticipation of the upcoming Expo 2027, the airline wanted to contribute to the promotion of this important event, which is why it decided to give its third wide-body aircraft the visual identity of the exhibition.
