Indoor and Outdoor Air Quality Seminar, organized by the Nordic Business Alliance in Serbia and the EuroCons Group gathered representatives of the Nordic and local companies interested in how air quality affects the working environment.

“Air pollution affects not only our environment but our daily lives and long-term health. Tackling this challenge requires joint efforts – across borders, sectors, and communities”, said Charlotte Sammelin, Ambassador of Sweden in Serbia, who hosted the seminar at her Residence.

Iva Petrovic, Director of the Nordic Business Alliance, underlined that the Air Aware seminar arrives at the perfect time, just ahead of the World Environment Day, celebrated on 5th June. “It impeccably fits the goal of raising awareness about the importance of a healthy environment, where businesses play an important role”, said Petrović.

Nebojša Vasilev, Senior Air Filtration Expert at the EuroCons Group, gave a presentation on what should be measured and how in terms of indoor and outdoor air quality, with the special emphasis on benefits of a proper air filtration in the working environment.  Vasilev pointed out not only that good air quality improves the health of employees, but also that comfortable indoor air quality and reduced CO2 levels improve cognitive function, memory, and concentration, leading to better productivity.

Moreover, air quality is among critical parameters for production processes in various industries. A well-illustrated example is bottled drinks, which also come with an air inside of them. If the air is bad, the same thing will be with the product quality, Vasilev explained.

For the final part of the seminar, the EuroCons team demonstrated the said by measuring air quality in the Swedish residence, comparing results achieved before and after the application of air purifiers, as well as measuring outdoor air quality.

EuroCons Group has a rich experience in the field of air filtration, especially for industrial applications, being an exclusive representative of the Swedish company Camfil in Serbia for over 20 years.

The EuroCons Group will showcase a part of its air filtration solutions within the Republica Business Cente boasting approximately 7000 sqm of office space in the Belgrade city center. This will be a new business hub created by the EuroCons, in the building previously owned by the Dunav Insurance which will be fully renovated and opened by 2027. The Republica Business Center will encompass state-of-the-art HEPA filtration system removing 99.97% of particles as small as 0.3 microns, including PM1, PM2.5, PM10, and other pollutants, as well as molecular filtration, which removes gases and odors. The parameters will be maintained within the set limits due to the CO2 monitoring and the automated system, and with the option for natural ventilation.

“Republica Business Center will be a commercial building with the cleanest air in Serbia”, EuroCons Group Director Goran Đurić announces.
