An agreement on financing the construction of the Čibuk 2 wind farm near Kovin, which will generate 154 megawatts of electricity, was signed during a formal ceremony in Vrdnik between Masdar, Taaleri Energia, and Erste Bank, in the presence of high-ranking officials and representatives of these companies.

According to Erste Group, the wind farm is expected to begin operations in the first quarter of 2026.

It is anticipated that this wind farm, located about 40 kilometers from Belgrade, in the municipality of Kovin, will provide enough electricity to meet the needs of approximately 62,000 households.
