Piraeus Bank Group has appointed Vojislav Lazarević as new Chairman of the Executive Board and General Manager of Piraeus Bank A.D. Beograd, though this appointment requires the official consent of the National Bank of Serbia.
Lazarević, who holds a Bachelor Degree in Business Administration and an MBA degree, started his banking career at Societe Generale Bank in Athens in 1999. In 2001 he joined NBG Group in Serbia, which went on to acquire Vojvodjanska Bank A.D. Novi Sad, where he held various senior positions. Lazarević was appointed Assistant General Manager and Executive Board Member of Vojvodjanska Bank A.D. Novi Sad in 2006.
Lazarević’s predecessor as Executive Board Chairman and General Manager of Piraeus Bank A.D. Beograd, Neoclis Neocleous, leaves Belgrade after six years to continue his banking career with Piraeus Bank in Cyprus.
