Embassy of Pakistan in Serbia announced the appointment of the new Ambassador Syed Adil Gilani.
H.E. Syed Adil Gilani (72) graduated in N.E.D. Engineering from the University of Karachi.
A civil engineer by profession, he has amassed 51 years of experience in Pakistan and Nigeria in the public/private sector, the Government of Sindh 1966-1970, North Estate of Nigeria 1970-1975, Gammon Pakistan Ltd, 1979-1989, Karachi Port Trust Government of Pakistan 1989-2000, and, since 2000, project management and advisory services.
He was also a member and Port Consultant of the Sub-Working Group on Ports & Shipping of the Government of Pakistan for 2005-2010 Five-Year Plan.
Ambassador Gilani has served as an anti-corruption expert and led various projects and regulations in the Pakistani government.
He arrives in Serbia from the position of Prime Minister’s Inspection Commission Consultant.
