Romano Rosi, a seasoned entrepreneur from Perugia, was unanimously elected as the new president of Confindustria Serbia during the General Assembly on 4 December 2024.
His four-year term (2024–2028) follows the leadership of Patrizio Dei Tos, who helmed the business association from 2019 to 2024. Rosi, who has been active in Serbia’s business scene since 1990, co-founded Progetti d.o.o., a company producing luxury footwear and components across three factories in Vladimirci, Sombor, and Knjaževac, employing over 1,000 people. He is also the founder of F.lli Rossi Shoes d.o.o., a joint venture with an Italian fashion house that employs 650 workers and has ambitious expansion plans.
Rosi’s extensive experience, including his role as first vice president of Confindustria Serbia since 2015, positions him as a strong advocate for innovation and economic collaboration between Italy and Serbia. Under his leadership, the association aims to strengthen its influence in Serbia’s industrial landscape, fostering growth, sustainable development, and deeper ties with Italian businesses.
