H.E. Kyle Randolph Scott has also served as Deputy Chief of Mission at the U.S. Mission to the OSCE (2005-2009), Political Minister Counsellor at the U.S. Mission to the EU (2003-2005), Political Counsellor at the U.S. Embassy in Budapest (1999-2003) and as Political Officer at the U.S. Embassy in Moscow (1996-1998).
Kyle Randolph Scott has also served as a National Security Fellow at the Hoover Institution, Stanford, California (1994-1995), Political Officer at the U.S. Embassy in Tel Aviv (1991-1994), Economic Officer at the U.S. Mission to the United Nations in Geneva (1987-1990) and Political and Economic Officer at the U.S. Mission to the United Nations in New York (1984-1987).
Since joining the Foreign Service in 1980, his other assignments have included serving as an International Economist in the Bureau of International Organisations and as a Consular Officer in Zagreb, Croatia.
His foreign languages include Serbo-Croatian, Russian, Italian, Hungarian, Hebrew, German and French.
