Mr. Zdrale replaces Mark Davis, who has recently been appointed EBRD Managing Director for the Southern and Eastern Mediterranean (SEMED) region.

Mr. Zdrale, currently Regional Head of Agribusiness, South-Eastern Europe, brings a wealth of experience to his new role. He joined the Bank in 2002 and has since worked on Municipal/Transport Infrastructure and Property and Tourism projects. In 2006 he moved to London to join the Agribusiness team. From Principal Banker in 2008 and Senior Banker in 2011, he became a Regional Head of Agribusiness in 2015 with a focus on Southeastern Europe.

In his current role, he has led the Agribusiness activities in 11 countries of CSEE and created highly recognisable business franchise in the region. He was responsible for business and policy delivery reflected in several projects including novel structures amounting to about EUR 200-300 million in annual business investment per annum.

“I am confident that Miljan`s extensive business contacts, wide experience and proven track record will greatly contribute to the Bank’s continued success in the region,” said Charlotte Ruhe, Managing Director, Central and South Eastern Europe.
