The Global Entrepreneurship Programme, funded by the Swiss State Secretariat for Economic Affairs (SECO), has been officially launched at Belgrade’s ICT Hub.
The project will run until 2019 and will also be implemented in Bosnia-Herzegovina, Albania, Macedonia, Peru and Vietnam.
“Through project activities, we are going to provide support to organisations that comprise the domestic entrepreneurial scene, in order for them to become sustainable and able to assist start-ups in an easier and more efficient manner,” said Pauline Menthonnex, Deputy Head of the Swiss Mission at the Embassy of Switzerland in Serbia.
The programme is implemented by Swisscontact, a Swiss organisation that is currently implementing projects in over 30 countries worldwide.
According to Philip Hostert, SECO Programme Manager for Serbia, “the programme’s goal is to advance entrepreneurial performances.”
