On Friday, 17 November, Belgrade audience can expect a special stand-up evening because Nick Cody and Micky Bartlett are going to be guests of the Ben Akiba Comedy club & bar (Braće Krsmanovića 6).
Australian comedian Nick Cody is already well known to our audience after he performed in Belgrade in November 2016 in a sold-out Ben Akiba club. Now he’s coming with reinforcements, a comedian from Northern Ireland, Micky Bartlett.
The whole show will be in English language.
Australia’s acclaimed bearded comedy super-nova Nick Cody is teaming up with Northern Ireland’s fastest rising stand-up comedy star Micky Bartlett for a European tour that promises to kick-ass around the continent! You don’t want to miss this!
The Daily Telegraphy in the UK describes Nick Cody as a ‘force to be reckoned with’ and his reviews in the press are superb. In the last 12 months, Nick made his US TV debut on CONAN, performed at the Just For Laughs Festival in Montreal, had two runs at The Soho Theatre in London, performed his brilliant 3rd solo Edinburgh fringe and just generally kicked ass around the globe. This is Gimmick-free stand-up comedy at its very, very best from the acclaimed Australian funny man who has been hailed across the UK and in America as one of the most exciting standups to come out of Australia in a generation.
Northern Ireland’s Micky Bartlett is gathering both momentum and acclaim as one of the fastest rising stars on the UK live stand-up circuit. Described by the Arts Award Voice as ‘Genuinely Hilarious’, at home he is known for his hilarious TV appearances including 2 series of BBC NI’s “Monumental”. Micky was also the studio warm-up guy for “TFI Friday” and “Top Gear”, has performed four smash-hit solo Edinburgh fringe shows and has toured the UK with Tommy Tiernan.
